Welcome to the Genesee Valley Region Affiliate Chapter of RID
As the Genesee Valley Region's official affiliate chapter for RID, The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, our organization is dedicated to providing best practices in all aspects of professional interpreting services. In addition to our focus on connecting the community with skilled, compassionate interpreters, we also strive to provide the highest standards of professional development for practitioners. By working closely with new and experienced interpreters throughout the Rochester area, Genesee Valley area, and interpreters from surrounding areas. We adhere and are guided by the current standards in the provision of interpreting services for diverse users of languages both signed or spoken.

Regardless of whether you're new to interpreting, an active GVRRID member, or interested in learning more about our offerings and community outreach programs, the Genesee Valley Region Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf invites you to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved.
